A Rhapsody in Art transforms One Ten East Atlantic

The Boca Raton Museum of Art – Artists’ Guild has transformed 110 East Atlantic Ave with a fresh new look for its “Rhapsody in Art” Exhibition that will be on display for only six weeks from December 6th to January 16th 2011. This fantastic exhibition adorn the walls and common areas throughout the three floors of the building and impressive entry looking up along the outer balcony walls of beautiful original art to ever be on display at this location. “It shows a high caliber of professionalism and expertise in filling this space to its highest and best use. In my opinion I feel like I’ve entered an impressive museum of fine art,” says Anjalts, Guild artist attending the exhibition that was jammed pack with art connoisseurs veering in all directions to see the dramatic display at the Opening Reception held last Thursday, December 8th. 

“Rhapsody in Art” includes over 100 fine art original paintings, sculptures and photography from the Guild’s Signature Artists. Exhibition awards were also given out to winning artists: First place winner went Hanne Niederhausen – for her painting called “BOTANICA #13″; Second Place presented to Diane Lublinski – “ANOTHER PLAYTHING”(Sculpture) and Third Place winning Artist was Nadine Saitlin for her painting entitled “MASQUERADING AS A STILL LIFE”. Ring in the New Year at First Night® 2011, a non-alcoholic celebration of entertainment and activities for the entire family. Festivities begin at 4:00 pm on Friday, December 31st, in Downtown Delray Beach and continue through midnight. First Night® Buttons, which will serve as admittance to all First Night® activities and venues, can be purchased for $10 in advance and $15 on New Year’s Eve (December 31st). Buttons can be purchased in advance at the Famous 100-Foot Christmas Tree*, the Greater Delray Beach Chamber of Commerce, City Hall*, Delray Beach Public Library, Delray News and Tobacco and Old School Square. Buttons will also be sold on the day of the event at various Downtown locations.

Blue Coast Real Estate is now working with Priscilla Speicher of Marketing & Events by Priscilla to bring cool events to downtown Delray Beach.  Priscilla has lived here for 9 years. A few months ago, she created a website dedicated to helping people find the best places to go in South Florida for dining, nightlife, and live music. (JustAskPriscilla.com).  Her business website is MarketingByP.com.  She recently hosted an Open House event here at 110 E Atlantic Ave during Jazz on the Ave.  It included food, wine, entertainment, and art tours of the 110 building. (You can drop by and view the art on all 4 floors anytime, Mon. thru Fri., between 9 and 5.)

The Boca Raton Museum Artists’ Guild has given 110 East Atlantic Ave a new look for the next six weeks.  With over 100 fine art paintings and photography and a dozen sculptures, the lobby and the common areas on each floor are adorned with beautiful art.  Stop by on Wednesday, December 8 from 6 – 8 p.m. for the opening reception of Rhapsody in Art.  It’s an exquisite display of beautiful art from seasoned members of the Guild.
